Gingerbread Latte

Gingerbread Latte Recipe

Starbucks Gingerbread Latte er magisk, men siden det er langt å reise for en kaffe så kan man lage dette hjemme også. Her kommer en oppskrift, har ikke prøvd denne, men tenkte tiden snart var inne for det.



Things You'll Need:

  • espresso
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 and 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp crushed allspice
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Optional: whipped cream
  • Optional: cinnamon sticks
  • Optional: nutmeg garnish

    Mix the water and sugar together in a medium size saucepan.

    Add ginger, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla extract and whisk together

    Boil the mixture. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Remove from heat.

    Make 1/2 cup of espresso. (See resources for espresso machine recommendations)

    Heat 8 ounces of milk in the microwave or steam with espresso machine.

    Add the espresso, 1/4 cup of the gingerbread syrup, and milk in a tall mug. Stir together.

    Garnish with whipped cream, nutmeg and/or a cinnamon stick if desired. Enjoy!
